Offering 5th Grade - "CALIFORNIA SCIENCE STANDARDS" in an exciting Hands-on Science lab. Come and explore how Matter is 'anything that takes up space and has mass', in our six stations of matter activities.

Station #1: "Molecules in Motion" will investigate compounds and conduct a timed molecular race. Station #2: "The Fastest Get Away" will demonstrate characteristics of phase changes. Station #3: "Density" compares liquids and explores why things float. Station #4: "Gak" is it a solid, a liquid or a combination? Station #5: "Air Takes Up Space" helps students collect evidence that air is matter. Station #6: "Mixtures" what they are and how we sort them out.
